I lived in the upper flat of this house from 1 October 1961 to 30 June 1966. The upstairs didn't have the balcony then. It is right across the street from my third school: St. Francis of Assisi. Within a few months of moving to this location, I had re-invented myself, insisting I be called by my first (in lieu of my middle) name. I once drew a layout of the flat: The room on the far-right was the living room. (My parents slept there on a pull-out sleeper couch.) My two sisters and I slept in a slightly smaller room just to its left. The west-wing of the flat (separated from the living/sleeping quarters by a down-two-steps/up-two-steps landing) held the kitchen and bathroom.
