We didn't know how Hazel would take to the cold and snow out on the back deck (since winter arrived) but she plowed right into it and generally seems quite comfortable for fifteen minutes or so. I suppose she preferred the autumn since she could munch on a leaf or two whenever she felt like it: Now a nibble of snow is as good as it gets. Still, for a rabbit that had not known the outdoors prior to this summer, this is progress of sorts.
