Simple KenKen
Simple KenKen
Ken ye KenKen?
To the surprise of some of my friends who were aware of my general passion for puzzles and logic, I never did get into Sudoku. I do however like this new logic puzzle created by Japanese mathematics teacher Tetsuya Miyamoto. Called KenKen, it appears to be richer than Sudoku in creation possibility and somewhat more open in terms of solution strategy.
London’s The Times has been publishing KenKen since March, but today’s two puzzles are actually the first that I’ve seen and solved. The picture is from a Will Shortz video explaining a simple KenKen.
