I recently came across six advertisements for embalming equipment (then being sold by the Egyptian Chemical Co.) at the back of an 1894 book called Practical Embalming by one Prof. F.A. Sullivan. The author’s full name was Felix Aloysius Sullivan (1843-1931) — my wife’s father’s father’s mother’s oldest brother. A number of us in the family are engaged in an ongoing effort to locate any and all genealogical information related to Felix, his wives, and his descendants.
